Bled is known for:

Lake Bled is one of two Alpine lakes in Slovenia. The other is Lake Bohinj, which is located about 25 km from Bled to west. If the weather will be nice during the meeting it would still be possible to swim in the lake.

Bled castle is another attraction in Bled. Bled castle is a medieval castle built on a precipice above the city of Bled in Slovenia, overlooking Lake Bled. According to written sources, it is the oldest Slovenian castle and is currently one of the most visited tourist attractions in Slovenia.

Cream cake (Slovene: Kremna rezina) is a vanilla and custard cream cake dessert popular in several central-European countries. There are many regional variations, but they all include puff pastry base and custard cream.

Rowing competitions. The 2011 World Rowing Championships, the 40th edition of the World Rowing Championships, were held at Lake Bled, Bled, Slovenia between August 28 and September 4, 2011.
